Yo. They don't do that in HS.
I had a typo that I just saw. In my previous post...I wanted to give you triple bonus points if you would talk in the lispy Chevy Chase voice to the next teacher that asks you a sillly lice question.
But really...are you saying that: They don't ask silly lice questions in the High School?

Yes. Ain't nobody for time for that!
Have you ever worked in an elementary? Because you raise a really good point. I have 1 high school and 3 elementary buildings. Never really compared them all that much. But, now that you mention it. I totally agree! All my silly lice questions come from my elementary teachers. What a concept!! Hmmmm

We are more concerned with "public" lice in HS.

So, I figured it's high time for another lice thread. What's it been? Three..four days?
My my distric has a "no live lice" policy, so I had to send a little guy home this week. An hour or so later, the girl who was subbing for a building assistant came down because, "The teacher says you should check me because I was working with him." So I ask her if they hugged or if he was sitting in her lap. No. So I tell her the chance is slim to none. "Even if he was scratching, used a marker, and then I used that marker?" Ummm...
So I humor her & check her. Nothing. Imagine that.
Teacher comes down asking when I'm going to come check the class. In my head, I'm laughing my a$$ off at her. There wouldn't have been time that day even if I wanted to. Next day, she's back. So I humor her & tell her I'll take a look at his closer friends. And of course she wants checked. I have a few minutes so I go down there, she sends four boys to see me. All of them clean as a whistle. Shock.
Luckily, my principal is seeming supportive of my reluctance to check the entire class. But, It looks like someone needs needs a refresher course. (Bonus points to you if you read this sentence in a lispy, Chevy Chase tone)
C'mon people!
