I am looking to chat with someone with any insights into the following schools:

Minneapolis VA school of Anes

St. Mary's Univ. - Minneapolis

Minneapolis school of Anes

Webster University- St. Louis

SIUE- Edwardsville, Illinois

I have applied to these schools and would greatly appreciate any feedback. Thanks in advance. Tammy

I didn't have a first good impression of Minn. School of Anesthesia. It was my first time in Minn, and it is very cold!

Except for Webster I think that they all don't require the GRE. That's something to know if you don't want to take the GRE. I also know that St. Mary's interviews really early each year, around April I think. So at least you would know in advance if you got in or not. That's about all I know. Oh, and the VA hospital program is based at the Univ or MN.

Hey Tammy,

I sent you a PM.

I was just accepted at mayo. did you apply there.

Specializes in CRNA, ICU,ER,Cathlab, PACU.

I got the impression that St Mary's would not be difficult to get into with their low gpa minimum and they did not require bsn, nor gre's. I was wrong and got rejected.

I have to say I have been on several interviews. I found the people and minnesota and the staff at mayo to be refreshing.:)
