Hi All,

Next week Thurs. I will have my first lab test. Does anyone know any good websites for lab tests??? We have to identify 50 terms on the cat, and sheeps heart. I have done well in Anatomy on the lecture part so far because that is all memorization. But this lab half is another story. It all looks like chicken to me. I have a hard time telling one muscle from the other. The organs should be easier to identify. But the nerves and muscles are so difficult. Any suggestions???? I am trying to memorize them in order from pictures in book. Please help:)

Are you allowed to take your cat or sheep's heart home to study? We were allowed to take them home over the weekends. Actually, if you have a big enough tote bag you can sneak them out of the lab and in again. Keep 'em in two plastic bags and close the plastic well so it doesn't stink up the house.

I have some pics for you to study for the cat, and I have a Powerpoint quiz for the sheep's heart at http://www.nursingjourney.com.

Also, I'm sure you could google some other sites.

Taking pics & studying them at home helps when you can't be at the lab.

Good luck on your lab test!!! :)

For cat muscles, look up the thread here for A&PI - Spring semester 2005, there were a few we posted.

Good luck!
