Anyone taking A&P I or II during the summer? I attend a university in Maryland but live in New York so taking a summer class here would be costly with housing so my first plan was to just take A&P I at another university but they told me if I take the first one at another university, I need to take the second one there which makes sense. It wasn't my plan but you gotta do what you gotta do. Anyone else taking this class during the summer?
I am one of the crazy ones, too!
Registered for A&P I in June, A&P II in July. Classes (combined with lab) are 5 hours Mon-Thurs.
I took A&P I back in 1999 (got a B) and am returning now that my kids are all school-age to update prerequisites in hopes of entering a BSN program.
The past few weeks, I've been doing the coloring books to review. Now that I have my text book, I plan to pre-read and note-take on as many chapters as possible.
I don't want anything other than an A this time. Anyone have success with that during summer classes?
Starting A&P I in 3 hours. 5 1/2 hours twice a week for 6 weeks! I haven't been in school for 3 years (7 years since full-time), so I am excited and trepidatious. However, I have a good support network in place this go-around, and I will come to my fellow A&P-ers on this board for support as well.
First day was great, aside from the prof being 30 minutes late.
He keeps it really structured and fast. It is great for note taking, which is good since we have at least one exam a week.
I spent the last week studying A/P for dummies (great supplemental by the way) and it really paid off for participating and leading the class.
After reading peoples posts about this class, I was a little worried, but this first class allayed my fears. It's going to be tough and fun.

I am also taking AP 1 in a 5 week session along with chemistry . I am super NERVOUS but I know plenty of people who done this and pulled out with A's in both so hopefully we can do the same!! Is there anything else I can use to prepare myself for the class because I don't have a book yet. Thanks
