I am considering registering for a school in McDonough, GA called AMT Institute. Unfortunately, I'm unable to find much information about them online. I need as much feedback as possible from people that completed the LPN to RN bridge program & obtained their RN license or even people who know someone that has been in this program.

The campus of AMT that is located in Georgia is a scam school. The school is not approved to operate by the Georgia Board of Nursing, which means you will not be able to attain licensure as an LPN or RN after completing their programs.
Run away from this school.
They claim to be a satellite campus for Medlife Institute in Florida, which is an accredited school but I can't find much info on AMT. I know of people that start on March 3 who have friends that completed the program, took their boards in FL & obtained a license. I don't know if they had their license transferred to Georgia yet. I hear positive feedback from current or past students but I'm still very skeptical.

The GA BON does not list them as an approved school (as of 2/2016). Their website says nothing except how to contact them and that the website is being "redesigned." The website for Medlife Institute in FL does not list a Georgia campus. I'm suspicious. There is nothing about this that looks legitimate or encouraging. OP, when you say you know people who completed "the program" and got licensed in FL, are you talking about people who graduated from MedLife or from AMT?
Well, both, actually... but I was referring to AMT. All the positive feedback I hear are from students who have completed the LPN or RN bridge program & have obtained a license. I have seen their website & yes, they don't have any information at all. I am skeptical but also hopeful because the schedule would be very convenient for me. I'm still doing my research before I consider registering.

It's an unauthorized "school" not legally operating under GA or FL BoN. There is no indication this a legal/authorized satellite. Did you call the "home" school in FL? Also contact GA & FL BoN c
I have called the school in Florida but the director has still not called me back yet. I have not called the board of nursing yet. I don't understand how people are completing their nursing programs, sitting for the boards & obtaining a license.
Any other member that called the FL location was told that the GA location is not an affiliate. Call the BoN. If the school is in GA it must be approved by GA BoN and you don't have to get an out of state license. Major red flags here
I finally spoke to someone. I was calling the Naples location but it is in fact the Bradenton location. The owner of Medlife in Bradenton is also the owner of AMT Institute in McDonough. They say that even though the name is AMT, they are still Medlife. I also finally spoke to the adviser at AMT & she answered my questiions. After speaking to her, I know now for sure that it isn't for me. The hours don't work & even though they won't tell me the cost of tuition over the phone, I was told by someone who starts tomorrow 3/3 that the tuition is $30,000. No financial aid. Only out of pocket. My sister went to Medlife in Kissimmee & her tuition was $11,000. Not sure why AMT is almost 3x more if they're supposedly also Medlife. The adviser has also old me that 10 people have taken the NCLEX. One failed. Another failed on their first attempt & passed on their second. 8 have passed on the first try, obtained a license in Florida & then a Georgia license by endorsement. Either way, I won't be attending.

I have been checking the school and have had reservations about it being legit. I work with someone who just graduated from amt and passed her boards last week. She did indeed go to that school and now holds an RN license. I'm still skeptical of it as there is no info on the Internet. Who did you speak to in Fla? I would really like to get the scoop so I feel comfortable signing up.
I called Medlife Institute in Bradenton & was told that the owner of their campus also owns AMT.
