good - getting it over with
bad - craming it all in, over a shorter period of time
only you know you, and what your college is like. best advice, find someone in you area, that did it, and see what they have to say.
i took micro over the summer, it sucked, but it was over. i don't know if i could do it along side a&p though. ( i know how i am, i have to work, and i have a family to take care of). the only comfort you may have is, that a&p 2 is some what easier, already having the fundamentals from a&p1. good luck.....

Do a search--lots of people post questions about taking two sciences together in the summer.
My thought: don't do it! Trust me, it will be toooooo much for you. GL!

If your goal is to make A's in both it might be a little too much, I'd take one at a time, but you won't know if you don't try!

A few years ago, I took AP 2 and Micro at the same time during a spring semester- that was along with a history class and my "Fine art" required class... I didn't find the load overwhelming, even with the associated labs, but I know that sometimes summer classes are conducted for a longer time over a shorter number of days. For example, I took a summer class that was three hours a day, four days a week for four weeks. If that is the case, I know I might find it difficult to manage both of these classes at the same time. Best of luck to you!:icon_hug:

I am taking them both now together and based on how it's been so far I myself would not take them both in the summer. But, its according to how organized you are, and how much you have going on outside of school (work, family, etc.) Bottom line is it can be done if you can really buckle down and commit. Good luck in making your decision.

I am taking both of these classes right now and it is do-able in a regular semester, but I am not sure about the summer. I have heard summer science classes are hard because they cram everything into just a few weeks. I dont think it would be a good idea to take them together, during the summer. Good Luck, btw, where in CA are you? I am in Bakersfield.
I am in Fremont, Ca. Thanks for everyone's opinion!!
