Does anyone know approximately how many alternates they let in a semester?

last semester, I got an email to be alternate 25 a couple days after acceptance emails went out and there were other alternates even past 25 so maybe around 30 would be my guess

When I turned in my app, I was talking to one of the students that got accepted for Spring 24 and she stated that Alternate 15 or 17, (I don't remember exactly) had made it into the cohort. So if you are an alternate, something is better than nothing.

This was my 3rd cycle applying and not getting in. Not gonna lie, I'm feeling down. I've kept Nightingale as my backup and will start there on 5/6. Those of you in the same boat check it out.

Hi! I am curious about Nightingale... I really don't want to keep applying and having all this anxiety. Do you know if there are accredited here in California?

I asked those exact questions when I met with my advisor. Yes, they are accredited and you take the NCLEX for California. There's a facebook group that I joined that is just for California students going to Nightingale that is so helpful. Nightingale College California Students. A question I asked on the FB group was those that currently attend NG do you wish you had waited longer to try and get into a local school and EVERYONE said they wish they had started Nightingale sooner. Nightingale was my last option and not at all what I wanted but I have to turn it into a positive as im older and don't have the luxury of time to ride out the lottery. In 2.4 years I'll finish with my BSN and a lot of student loan debt.

I'm glad you are still pursuing. You will be an RN!! You got this
