Wanted to get this forum started.

I got accepted to the program yesterday and had a question, I'm a socal based applicant and applied to ARC, but I see that there's a deadline by today for accepting the position and a mandatory online + in person meeting coming up in May. I'm still waiting to hear back from 5+ other socal based schools, as ARC is the only norcal school I applied to, so I wasn't sure if it was okay to accept ARC's offer today and turn it down in the event that I choose a socal based program in the future instead? Also not sure how strict they would be with my inability to attend an in person meeting on such short notice, I see the email says no exceptions but I wanted to ask here anyway. Congrats to everyone else who got in!

hey congratulations! I was an alternate last semester and was still told that going to the orientation and intensive was mandatory if I wanted to keep my spot as an alternate so I believe to keep your spot you'd definitely have to attend these meetings. as for whether you should accept, I think you should just in case and try to make it to the meetings. if you get in to a closer place to you, then it's totally fine to back out of arc later on

thank you for letting me know! if anything I'll just have to make the drive up there T_T but it's good to know I can back out later on, I was just surprised to hear back this early from any program in general so I'm still trying to weigh my options. thanks again!

I would definitely show up to nurse intensive for both days especially if you were accepted. They will take attendance during those days as well, and give you information that you need to start the program.

Goodmorning everyone it's officially April 25th and week 8 from submission due date! I havent heard anything from arc yet and been checking my emails and the arc portal like crazy. Have most of you heard back? Thank you and goodluck everyone!!

They sent out the acceptances and alternate positions like 2 days ago. This meaning that if you didn't hear back, there's a decent chance you weren't picked it in the lottery. Sorry!

Thank you for the info. Looks like Sierra is where I'll be going for ADN.

Has anyone received the info for the nursing intensive yet? I got the first email, submitted my intent to enroll, but have not recieved the  zoom info for may 6th

My email said Monday the 6 from 8-2. I spoke with someone that said it would be through zoom.

I'm curious, is anyone rejecting ARC due to acceptances at other schools like Sac City, Sierra, etc?

Just got the ARC rejection letter 😟 it said I "fell outside of the group that was selected" weird wording but I appreciate knowing for sure.
