thank you for letting me know! if anything I'll just have to make the drive up there T_T but it's good to know I can back out later on, I was just surprised to hear back this early from any program in general so I'm still trying to weigh my options. thanks again!

They sent out the acceptances and alternate positions like 2 days ago. This meaning that if you didn't hear back, there's a decent chance you weren't picked it in the lottery. Sorry!
