Can anyone please give me some recommendations for good and affordable MSN/DNP programs. I would love to go to an in class program, but unfortunately I'm in Connecticut and want to do AGACNP. The only programs that have that are UCONN and Yale, they cost from 900-1000 per credit. It's crazy T_T Is it worth it for those programs or is my best bet to find something online? I really want to go to a great program.

Well, I can say the people I know who did Yale’s program have paid off their debt. Those who did Uconn’s have not. Don’t know why exactly or if that even holds value to say LOL, just something I’ve noticed.

I am searching for a cost effective DNP program where I can transfer previous credits and finish quickly;

I also live in CT and I plan on applying to UConn s AGACNP program for next year. One I thing to tell you though is that the MSN/DNP programs are now FULLY ONLINE with only a few in-campus requirements throughout the program. They still secure your preceptors and I’m sure the program is still great but they no longer do in class.
Also UConn eliminates the extra fees that come with tuition. It’s 900-1000 per credit but w/o extra costs. Yale is 1300 per credit but add extra fees making it even more expensive.
I don’t know where in ct you’re located but you can also consider some of the agacnp schools in NY or MA that are blended and reputable.

Thank you for this! Yea, after doing more research, I feel like I want to go to UCONN too. Hopefully within the next 3 years I'll be starting ?
