Hi..I'm from philippines and graduated as bachelor of science in nursing.i took the exam in the Philippines but I ddnt pass. I'm now at Vermont just 2months only. My visa to come here was fiancee visa. The question is,Am I qualified to take the exam in vermont without passing the local board in the philippines?im hoping for your reply..thanks

Why don't you simply call the Vermont state board of nursing and find out?

Have you looked at the VT BON site and look under the "International" applicant tab? Also, you should make sure that you get your SSN from your fiancée visa, as it will be required on the application to be considered.

Hey you need to be a licensed Nurse in Philippines and should have experience too.

Sorry to say you will not qualify for Vermont licensure.
It is always best to apply to state you plan to work in---links to all Boards of nursing found at the bottom of every allnurses page.
