Hey y'all I was told to make a seperate forum for this so here goes..! Anyone applying or reapplying to the lvn that starts June next year?
I was in the ACC LVN program this year but sadly didn't make it to next semester so I believe ill be back in June. My math HESI was a 98 that is what Wallace ( the director) said last year was what majority of people she chose had.. High math score. I had like a 60 on anatomy HESI because I hadnt taken it by the time I took the HESI but my average was still an 88 on HESI.
I sadly didn't take anatomy prior and had to take it on top of the 4 Nursing classes in the Summer without a professor and it was BRUTAL. I was .5 points away in one class from passing but I aced the antomy class I spent all my time on.. If you havent taken anatomy TAKE IT NOW.! Hope we all make it there was 42 of us in the beginning.

I don't know your interest but when I was deciding if I wantes to pursue nursing or not a counselor told me look into Xray technician ( rad techs ) make good money and the program I believe just needs ap and comp the basics... Always sonography aswell. I still havent got anything.

Yes I got an acceptance this morning ... keep at it guys ! I have applied and received my acceptance this morning .... u guys cannot give up nursing is a rough field and we all know it’s competitive but when u really want something u cannot give up ! It takes hard work , commitment , determination and for sure an attitude of you know what If I am not accepted right now that’s okay and then u start to say okay what can I do to be more competitive ? It breaks my heart seeing those of you saying you aren’t accepted but I’ll tell you from experience u cannot give up if and only IF it’s your true passion and dream ! U have to be determined you have to have grit and tenacity u cannot allow the small defeats in life to break you down u come back and come back stronger ! It’s my true belief that u will need all these characteristics to make a great nurse anyway so with that being said if u did not make it in please don’t just quit don’t just give up hold your head up high and walk in like u own the place ! Why ? Well because u do ! Only u can determine your path , one non acceptance can’t keep you from what your able to do it can’t keep you down when it’s what u really want ! If your scores weren’t there this time try harder for the next use that as your fuel it’s again grit and pure determination guys ! This is what I would challenge u all to do ... walk through this day like u own it and like nothing is going to knock you down ! If this is your dream and u really work and I mean work and don’t give up I believe u can achieve anything so knock off the dust and smile because you are not defined by any of it u are defined by your attitude your persistence ,preserverence and determination ! I know it’s hard when things don’t go how you planned but a word of wisdom is that when it doesn’t u keep shining on u keep walking the walk because with determination and heart I believe anything is doable ! Also just a side note I’ve had my fair share of failures and times I wasn’t accepted To things too but I had to make a decision that these times would not define who I was and they would not let me lose my hope ! I encourage u all to keep trying and more than anything believe in yourself and also know that there is a time for everything and although we hate hearing it maybe this just isn’t that time for reasons we can’t always understand but instead of doing like I did and feeling my time would never come raise your head up and keep walking forward ! I just truly hope that this will help someone because it’s all the truth I speak it from the heart ! One last thing ... anything worth having is worth working really hard for ! This program is an excellent one so keep at it guys ! I truly hope this will being some encouragement to you guys I mean that because life is too short to live with any sadness let this be the fuel to keep you motivated and keep on trying because if it’s truly something u want u will never give up on it ! Life will knock u down it’s your choice to get up and trust me you will be glad u did !

Yes I received something at 10:04 am it was in my spam mail I didn’t get accepted. I can’t believe I didn’t get selected as alternate either
