I decided to apply to Alvin after a friend told me about the program. It is a bit far from my home (about 40 min) but I rather start somewhere than keep waiting.
This go 'round, I am applied to TWU, Wharton Sugarland, and HCC.
@Cookie_for Keep your head up! It was a competitive program and we knew that going in. This is not the end of our road. I am curious how far off I was though. I thought my stats were pretty decent. ?

Yeah, i know. I just follow through with retaking my teas and apply to UTMB for the Fall
It was a no for me unfortunately. ? Not even waitlisted.

Don't be discouraged girl! This was my second time applying. They told me the reason I didn't get accepted the first time was because my Micro was in progress and it didn't count.

My Micro and Lifespan are in progress right now as well, but with high A's. I will be applying again for the fall. I'm a little older than most so felt the pressure of time slipping away.
It is okay to feel upset, it is normal, but rest assured. The right door will open up at the right time. It is never too late. I am 30 with 3 kids and it is a struggle to say the least but it will ALL be worth it. The work, the wait, all of it. Best wishes to you all!
