I decided to apply to Alvin after a friend told me about the program. It is a bit far from my home (about 40 min) but I rather start somewhere than keep waiting.
This go 'round, I am applied to TWU, Wharton Sugarland, and HCC.
Well, make sure you ask questions on why you didn't get in. I just did and it seems they made a mistake and didn't rank me correctly. now im on the alternate list. Congratulations everyone.
It is okay to feel upset, it is normal, but rest assured. The right door will open up at the right time. It is never too late. I am 30 with 3 kids and it is a struggle to say the least but it will ALL be worth it. The work, the wait, all of it. Best wishes to you all!
I am not sure. At wharton we found out in October and then were told that we would not know anymore info until EVERYONE (accepted and alt.) Turned in there blue clearance card. I have emailed to get updates and get more information but have not gotten a response. My friend called and no answer.
At Alvin they gave me deadlines and all the information on what will be needed.

yes, that makes a difference. It's still a waiting game. Alvin is 9 miles away for me. The driving plays a toll on everything also. Well, good luck.

I was also put on the wait list.. I got accepted in Wharton but I don’t know which I prefer at the moment guess I will see what happens with the waiting list.

Remember, in the info session, she told us if we didn't get in that we shoud ask Karen, what would make your app look better for the next round? Well, that's what I did.
