Future nurses,

This is week six. We should hopefully be hearing something this week or next.

I called earlier today and they said possibly by Monday they will be sending out emails.

That’s good to know!!

Looks like they’re starting to send out acceptance letters today, just received mine.

I just received mine. I was accepted!

Congratulations @RPSGT and @Michaelwhalen_08 and to all who have been/will be accepted! ?. I hope the very best for you all. For those of you (and me) not accepted this time keep pushing if becoming a nurse is your goal. YOU WILL GET THERE.

Good day!

Future Nurse

I got accepted yayy!! I’m at San Jac orientation right now LOL.

Congratulations everyone. I didn't get accepted nor alternate. Not sure why because my GPA was 3.61 HESI was 93.20

I was also accepted!

@BecomingNurseRissa2024 I was so rooting for you I’m so sorry to hear you didn’t get in this round. Your grades look strong, I’m surprised you didn’t get in. I had some bonus points because I completed micro, both Psych courses, and had a prior degree. My grades were only slightly higher than yours though but I did have all the extra stuff completed. Just keep chugging, apply to additional schools next semester even though it’s a pain and do the extra courses as psych and micro are required in most programs so you’re getting ahead essentially. HCC, Lone Star, College of mainland, Lee college … all those have ADN programs that are decent. Just keep your chin up, it sucks to get passed up but come back stronger next year with a wider scoped plan and you can still get to the ultimate goal of becoming a nurse. Who really cares how you get there. Try to enjoy the holidays but go ahead and register for those 2 or 3 classes if you haven’t taken them somewhere and can fit it into your schedule. I thought you said somewhere you were going into the LVN program though, am I mistaken?

@Baker2133 are you at the central meeting right now? I am

Aw thank yo soo much! And yes I got accepted to San Jac's LVN. I was  really aiming for ADN though. But I guess God has other plans for me. I have both completed both Psych courses as well. I'm only bombed about not getting in because I really thought my scores were solid and heard others with lower scores got in or get alternate. I know the program is competitive but gezzz! But I did email them asking the reason I wasn't accepted.

Hi! I just got my email today and I got placed #12 on the alternate list. I’m curious, do any of y’all know how often they actually go that far down the list? I’m trying to keep my hopes up but I’m a little discouraged.
