Just passed both FCCA's CPNE here I come!!!!!!!!

I've seen from a couple of different sources that the wait time is currently six months to a year out, including call outs. That's horrendous.

Six months is normal. A lot of people in the Facebook groups are getting cancellations at 5 months. This is why the catalog warns students about the wait and tells them to plan appropriately. You are seeing a reflection of the national nursing faculty shortage right here. If you're ready and you call, you will get a cancellation date as long as you don't restrict yourself to one or two sites.

Specializes in EMT since 92, Paramedic since 97, RN and PHRN 2021.

Just an Update......... It has been 4 solid months since my CPNE application was submitted and accepted. I have not heard anything from Excelsior in regards to getting a date from my submitted application. I have Emailed every day and called but other than getting a cancellation date that was 4 days from the date I was notified (along with being in texas) the logistics of me trying to get all the pieces to fall in to order for me to get their and take the CPNE there was too much. So I have been sitting in my corner, with my popcorn, waiting and waiting. I have been studying and I did fly down to Atlanta to take a 3rd party's workshop which was a tremendous help. Honestly thinking about retaking the workshop again the month before I get my firm CPNE date from Excelsior, thats how much of a help it is.

So here I am , just waiting, with everyone else who has finished the program up to this point. Just dreaming of getting that passing letter from the CPNE so I can knock out the NCLEX and put RN behind my name.
