Alot of SATA on my NCLEX

Published

I took my NCLEX today and I was astonished at the number of SATA questions I received. I had 23 SATA, I had to tally it because I thought I was seeing things for a minute. At one point I got 3 SATA back to back. It was like a cruel joke:jester::zzzzz. The computer shut down at 75 and I know a lot of people think that this is good, but I really dont know if I passed. I was shocked, I also got about 6 math, which is nothing compared to the SATA. SATA questions are like 5 questions in one and to think it only takes you missing one answer to get the whole question wrong:no:! Has anyone had this problem? because this is unheard of to me. I will let you guys know if I passed. Good luck to those who will take it soon.

I took my nclex on the 21st last month. I had about 18 SATA, 1 med calc and the rest of the questions were a blank because I was so distraught over the SATA questions. I am sooo horrible at them. When I did the qbank on Kaplan I got a large amount of them wrong. Anyways, so like most test takers I swore on my life that I failed. Test stopped at 75, took me 2 hrs 15 min...really long because I was thinking too hard on the SATA. Anyways, on the 25th I found out I passed. I was in shock when I looked on the BRN website, but there it was my name and license number. I know it's a difficult wait, especially on the 1st and 2nd day, but hang in there. You REALLY DO have to keep in mind the 85% PASSING rate. Good luck!!

Ok this may sound dumb, but what is SATA?

I took the NCLEX yesterday and it shut off at 75 questions. The waiting is killing me. I got quite a few SATA (select all that apply) and alot of priority questions. I had one math question that I'm not sure if I got right or not. I just want to know now whether I passed. I keep going back and forth between feeling good and feeling bad.

Just put me out of my misery already!!!:banghead:

I was seriously in the same position you were. I had a moment of thinking I passed, but then I was like...OMG 75 questions, a couple of my classmates passed with 80 or 120 questions and they had better grades than me in nursing school. I know it's hard to wait it out. But that's all you can do for now. I really spent a whole lotta time on this website looking at all these nclex threads. It won't help much, itll just get you more anxious. It won't be easy, but try to go out and relax. Go shopping, hang out with friends or family, go to barnes and nobles and read magazines (thinking how relaxing is this reading magazines instead of studying nclex books), do something to TRY to take your mind off it. Oh and the 1 math question, I had that too. In my opinion if you only had 1 then you probably got it right and the comp was satisfied with that. :nurse:

Select All That Apply. These questions usually have more than one answer.:nurse:

I took mine early August and also felt I had a LOT of SATA questions. I was certain I failed for that reason because in my practice tests, i did not do well with SATA questions. My test shut off at 75 questions and I did pass. I have a strong feeling you did fine.
