As many of you know...I've taken my exam last Aug. 22 in California and I still haven't gotten my result. Tomorrow will be my 2nd week of waiting unless today is an exemption because it's labor day. My exam stopped at 75, had alot of select all that apply, prioritization, delegation. I've seen some members in the forum who took their test later than me and found out they passed 3 days after. I'm getting frustrated and depressed from waiting because now I feel that I probably failed. I'm sorry for all this I just need to vent from waiting too long and feeling that I probably failed again for the third time...

Me too, I got the same kind of questions! I took the test last aug 15 and I'm still waiting for the results! I just hope that we pass coz' I really don't know how to prepare myself if I'm going to re-take the test. I wish california had quick results!

:mortarboard: I took the NCLEX with a friend on July 19th. Finally called the ca brn after 2 weeks and discovered my transcript had not arrived. It took another week+ to figure out that the school had yet to grant my degree and more calls to fix this!!!! My license was granted August 23rd but my friend is still trying to get her transcript fixed.....
Call the board and check that your file is complete and think good thoughts!
My test was exactly like yours, and 75 questions. Good luck:nurse:

hi echota, I just want you to know I am still praying for you. Have faith in you're self......The heart of the prudent acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge. I know the time of waiting is killing you but please be positive. And know that what don't kill you will make you a GREAT NURSE.

I know the feeling because I've been in your shoes before. I waited for 21 days.
Be positive. Goodluck to all of you!
Just try to remain relax and calm, and keep praying.

I took my NCLEX in CA last week. Where are we supposed to find our results? If the state board site says that we have a permanent license does that mean we've passed?

Hi Echota! We are in the same boat. I've taken my exam last August 22 (9:00am) in California too but until now I haven't gotten my result yet. The computer stopped at 75 question. I have 2 select all that apply, 1 computation and a lot of prioritization and delegation. I think I'm going crazy, I don't know if I passed or failed. I have friends who took the California board last year and got his result for a week and the other one for only for 2 days. I keep on looking to Ca BON site but there's no result yet. It's my first time taking that exam and it's driving me crazy! Goodluck to you and hope both of us passed!
Thank you so much everyone for those encouraging words...I think I've developed an OCD from checking my name on the website hehehe...Willbeth I'm glad I'm not alone in this waiting. It's officially been my 2nd week today, no name on the website..and nothing in the mailbox. If I dont hear anything by this week, I'm calling the BON to just make sure my application is complete. I've already told myself that If I fail, I can only cry or vent for one day and put myself back again because I need to keep on going in this journey. Although I don't know if I passed or failed yet, I want to say thank you so much to those who prayed for me on my test and who believed in me :) I'm trying to stay positive and calm. Because of you guys, my faith in God has been strengthened again and I've never felt closer to him. I believe God has reasons why he put me in this situation. All I can say is to thank God for bringing me into this forum and meeting wonderful people who has hearts filled with love and care. God is great..God is good.

If your name is listed on the webiste as having a license, then you passed the exam. No other way to get a license if you did not pass.
Average wait for CA is ten days, fastest that I have seen is three days, and the longest about one month.
