What is an article? That might seem rather basic, but judging from the submissions we receive, the definition isn't clear to everyone. For our purposes, an article is a story or an essay based on truth and told in your own words (no plagiarism, please). It can be an account of an interesting person, a moving experience, an idea that might solve a problem, or something you learned and would like to share with others.

I am new in the all nurses.com. Seems to me as fairly engaging site, i feel its NOT one of the many sites one joins only to lose interest very soon. I am a Kenya Registered Nurse, can I participate in the end-of-life articles competition? is it open to members ouside US?

Unfortunately, I just now happened across this information regarding potential winnings from a great article about nursing experiences! It is past the deadline, but I am wondering if there is an extension for any reason, or if there is going to be another chance at this? It seems like a great way to encourage nurses to share their personal work-related stories. I have many years invested in nursing and the number of moving encounters with patients and their families are too numerous to count. However, there are a couple of scenarios that truly touched my heart and always come to mind when looking back over my years in nursing. I also love to write so am sorry I missed this opportunity! Perhaps it will surface again!
Sincerely, nancynurse57
