I graduated from this school and I’m an RN. Passed the NCLEX with 75 questions. I’m in Amarillo tx.

Thank you for your reply. This makes me feel a little more secure in my decision to enroll.

Ugh... they told me like a day or 2 before the deadline I was missing not one but two classes which I knew I took. They told me I wouldn’t have time to take it and would need to reapply for the December deadline. Needless to say when I went to register for the classes they told me I needed something told me to look at my transcript and I had already took the classes in 2017 and 2019. I’m so livid!! Waiting to hear back on what they have to say about this because it was showing in my transcript.

False alarm! It wasn’t them it was the other school. Reapplied today

Hello,

I'm in East Texas and was accepted into the LPN to RN program that starts in August. I received a list of clinicals and am looking into obtaining some places closer to were I live. That is the biggest hang up (scariest part) regarding this program. I also don't have anyone or a friend of a friend that I know of that has completed this course through this facility. Anyone actually complete this program and now have their Associates/RN?

Hi! question about clinicals. Did you stay in E. Texas or ventured off?

Specializes in Med/Surg/OB/Gyn.

I am currently enrolled at ACM. I have A&P 2, Micro and a math to take. I can apply to the program in December. Any words of advice on passing A&P 2? I struggled with A&P1. Online learning is a struggle!

so where in Texas are the clinicals and if you score big on the entrance exam how long is the course in its entirety. Im applying

I think they have several clinical sites secured around Texas, but I’m in a small town so at that point I will have to go through steps to secure my clinical site.

I had only LVN school under my belt so I had to complete ALL general education requirements. I have Microbiology and statistics left. I have applied to the nursing program( which is about 1 year I believe) and am awaiting on approval to take the HESI LPN-ADN exam. For online learners, you are only allowed to test twice and 3 months in between testing. If you score less than a 700, you have to wait to apply to the next round.

I hope this helps! Best of luck!

Where do you take this test? And how long is the program?

Specializes in Med/Surg/OB/Gyn.

I haven’t received any information on the testing site as of yet. From what I understand the nursing portion is 1 year.

If you score high on this test does it shorten the length of achool

I want to say yes….but don’t quote me on that. You have to make a 700 to be considered for acceptance in the program. A score of 800 surpasses courses and a 900 moves you into another semester.

Hi @MiglettNurse, how is the program going? do you recommend it? how is clinicals?  Looking to apply next semester since I have all pre-req's completed.
