Hi. Used the HESI book NCLEX-PN examination. I mainly used the NCLEX type questions from the code inside the book on evolve. It was very helpful. I also used ATI NCLEX question bank. You can email me at [email protected]

I appreciate the information regarding which NCLEX book to use. I was studying the wrong one.

It’s the HESI upwards mobility test. The school suggested the HESI LVN NCLEX book. I used Saunders as it helped greatly with my NCLEX. It was over kill. I did review their guide but felt it was lacking (it really wasn’t I just didn’t know it) and settled on NCLEX cram which really was in the middle. I utilize the Saunders practice questions because I liked their rationals more. Based on your score you start at one of two paths. Minimum is 700. So from 700-899 you have a Summer transition course. Then 3 additional semesters of Fall, Spring, Fall. Fall isMed-Surg with 80 clinics hours, Spring is Psych and Peds 40 clinical hours in each, then last fall semester is Med-Surg 2 120 clinical hours then graduation. 900+ skips the basic med-surg class but you still have transitions, mental health/peds, and med-surg 2. I got an 805 but since I really didn’t put as much effort into it as I should have I’m not going to complain. I did waste money on those books because I didn’t utilize them but that is entirely my fault.

Awesome information. Thank you for sharing!!

Hello! I am in Texas as well, where are you doing your clinicals? looking to apply for the fall!

Hello! Thank you for starting this thread! I’m also considering in attending this school. I still need to take most of my pre requisite classes. I was told they also offer pre requisites. Has anyone tried taking the pre reqs through them? Thank you!

I haven't thought about clinicals yet. I'm still trying to see if this is the right fit for me.

I applied before the deadline in April. Anyone know how long it takes or in what form (mail, email, phone) you will be notified of your acceptance or not.

I have taken my HESI exam that was due by June 10,2022. I believe we have until June 20th to turn in all class grades. From there they decide, based on scores (prerequisites + HESI) who gets accepted. I just don't know when they will let us know. I'm also not sure when the program starts. Anyone done this that has any idea what to expect from here.

Anyone in DE testing and planning to attend Allegany College LPN to RN online nursing program

Hello,

I'm in East Texas and was accepted into the LPN to RN program that starts in August. I received a list of clinicals and am looking into obtaining some places closer to were I live. That is the biggest hang up (scariest part) regarding this program. I also don't have anyone or a friend of a friend that I know of that has completed this course through this facility. Anyone actually complete this program and now have their Associates/RN?

I received my acceptance email 6/29/22 at 3pm. I have to turn in my yea or nay regarding acceptance by 7/25/22. I requested a list of their clinical sites to see if they actually have any in my area. I received a reply and the email of their lists the very next day. Surprisingly they have multiple places close by (within 45 mins to an hour). I will check into the hospitals and clinics close to by house.  Just putting feelers out there to see if anyone has actually done this course or if they are in the process.

Thank you.

There are some facilities approx. 45mins - 1 hour from my home. If I cant talk to facilities in my local area I will try them.  I would love to use my current employer and try with them.

Ugh... they told me like a day or 2 before the deadline I was missing not one but two classes which I knew I took. They told me I wouldn’t have time to take it and would need to reapply for the December deadline. Needless to say when I went to register for the classes they told me I needed something told me to look at my transcript and I had already took the classes in 2017 and 2019. I’m so livid!! Waiting to hear back on what they have to say about this because it was showing in my transcript.
