Anyone successful complete lpn to RN through allegany college or in the nursing program how do you view your experience.

I take my test Thursday. I have studied so much and still nervous.

I took mine. I got an 1157. Needed a 900 to score into the 3rd semester ☺️☺️☺️

What did you do for a preceptor? Did you do the online portion.

I am doing the online LVN to RN program. I start May 17. I was able to Clep out of a semester by doing well on the entrance exam. I will graduate next May. I don’t have clinical sites set up yet. I will do that while I’m the transition class this Summer.  Are you in Texas too ?

Thanks for responding. I'm not in Tx. But I'm interested in the program but concerned about finding a preceptor.

Congratulations on scoring above 900!! Can you share what materials you used to prepare for the entrance exam? I'm looking to apply to the Summer '22 class. I live in Texas as well. If it's okay with you, I'd like to become pen PALS and gain some in site of the program and encourage each other along the way?

Hi. Used the HESI book NCLEX-PN examination. I mainly used the NCLEX type questions from the code inside the book on evolve. It was very helpful. I also used ATI NCLEX question bank. You can email me at [email protected]

Hello y'all,

I live in Texas and have just enrolled into Allegany and have had all my transcripts transferred to them.  I appreciate the information regarding which NCLEX book to use. I was studying the wrong one. 

I'm nervous was nervous about enrolling into this college until an acquaintance passed and enjoyed their experience. I wish us all the best of luck.
