No but the money thieves that are in league with the folks that run the monitoring programs do. I spend about $200 a month on testing at the end of my monitoring that will total about $8000. Really probably more because some tests cost more because we don’t want these thieves to starve. These testing costs aren’t covered by insurance because they do not accompany a diagnosis from a qualified medical professional nor a treatment plan that is not based in vodoo
It is Meagan. I had a descent set of circumstances when I got my dui. Almost 1000 hours of sick / vacation time built up and a union job so I didn’t get fired nor miss a paycheck although they were only 1/2 as big as usual (no shift diff or ot). Still it broke me financially my credit score used to be in the 800s and now no responsible lender would lend me enough for a cup of coffee at McDonald’s. These programs are harsh and honestly I have no idea how many people can even begin to pay for them. I wish you the very best
Since I’ve been clean (6 months now) I’ve gotten my life back BUT in the process I’ve lost just about everything in my life. My credit is worthless. No income - nobody will give me an opportunity to prove myself worthy of hiring. I’m being prosecuted for drug diversion, so soon I will have a criminal record and to top things off the state health department has denied me clearance to work directly with patients. I’ve been trying sooooo damn hard to make things right and take responsibility for my actions and to make better choices but it keeps getting worse and nothing is working out.
I’m utterly defeated.....
