What was your experience like? Do you feel your instructors both clinical and theory were fair and prepared you well for the NCLEX and work as an RN? Where did you go for clinicals? Did you have a choice of day or night clinicals?
What is the administration like at that school? Organized? Not?
Most of all, do you have any regrets about going to Inver Hills? Is there anything that you could change if you could?
The reason for all these questions is that I am at a horrible LPN program currently (St Paul College) and am having a terrible 1st clinical experience. I didn't hear anything about their horrible reputation until after I had already started, so I don't want to go in blind again for another poor experience.
Thank you so much!

I went to SPTC too...and I think that all 1st clinicals are pretty bad. Hang in there it will get better in time.
I sent you a PM.

HI,
I am a 3rd semester student and IH, and am loving it. Some clinical instructors are better than others, but even the 'others' are not what I would consider bad.
1st and 2nd semester clinicals are days, you can request day or eves in 3rd sem, and I'm not sure about 4th semester. I was enrolled at STPC but got my acceptance letter form IH before I got started (thankfully!!) My advice is to apply to IH. I have not regret it for one second.
Good luck!!!

Normandale is also a good school
:yeahthat:
I went to IH and had a very good experience!! Passed boards the 1st time! Took Kaplan last summer with some students of Normandale and I was very impressed at how prepared they were for boards!! They had the highest diagnostic exam scores!! I hear they have a very HIGH pass for NCLEX rate as well.
