Albany State University (ASU) Fall 2024 HCP to RN bridge program

Published

Hello,

I created this forum for individuals who have applied to Albany State University Fall 2024 HCP to RN bridge program. The deadline is June 1 and I am sure we are all waiting on our acceptance letter/email

@LPNTORN3

yes they did. I took screenshot of the email they sent me. Then I next day I got the acceptance email.

Okay, got the same exact email. That makes me feel a little better. Thank you and congratulations on being accepted!

@LPNTORN3

Hopefully you'll get some good news soon!

Anyone hear news?

@futurenurseholly Good Afternoon, I haven't heard anything yet. I did apply to the hybrid program just in case as like a backup plan. I'm a little nervous. But I know they're doing the next review on July 25. Has anyone read the other forums where they had to push back the application period?

@futurenurseholly Hey, unfortunately no more updates for me either.

I feel so lost. So they're doing another review on July 25 but the program begins August 20. When would everyone have time get everything together without pulling your hair out? LOL

Hey y'all . So I did get to talk to someone. My English was over 10 years old so it wasn't calculated in my GPA . So I wasn't over the 2.8 minimum. Good luck to everyone else, and I hope who's waiting get in. I am applying to another nursing program for Spring, so hopefully I get in.

I am sorry you didn't get in, but glad you were able to speak with someone regarding the decision. This is so irritating! Why are people having to call to get information? They should have sent a blanket email to everyone that they will be sending information at the end of July. I am not understanding how some people have received acceptance/denial letters and some of us have heard nothing.

@Bell30 I am truly sorry you didn't get in. I just wish the communication with the school was much better as @LPNTORN3 stated. It's very frustrating because you work so hard to gather all of your information  and apply. It sucks to be left in the dark.

@Bell30 hello! So they told you that it was because of your English that you were not accepted. I was not under the impression that English courses expired.

Yep. If it's over 10 years old.

They did tell me they would look Over my Application again though .
