Albany State University (ASU) Fall 2024 HCP to RN bridge program

Published

Hello,

I created this forum for individuals who have applied to Albany State University Fall 2024 HCP to RN bridge program. The deadline is June 1 and I am sure we are all waiting on our acceptance letter/email

@Autumn Sianna I took A&P 1,2, English 1, and 2, Algebra, American Government, and Psych prior to applying to the program. After applying to the program, before a decision was made, I also took Art and Spanish online at Albany during the Summer session.

What classes were you missing?

Okay. Thank you - I will try to get everything done tonight. Also, is orientation at Albany or Cordele. I'm reading on mine and it says Albany

I don't know how to @ people but yes I had all my classes that was needed.

Sadley American govt and micro. But congratulations to you all! Good luck 💗💗💗💗💗

You didn't need American govt and micro for the program ?

did you?

Oh no worries. You would just put the @ symbol then type their name. My letter said Albany but it was a mistake. And when you open the email, mine said it was an error and I was provided the Cordele address at the bottom.

It's OK autumn. I know this isn't the end for you. Thank you for the kind words but I truly know you have so much more to your journey.

I did, the curriculum shows it and those are the classes I didn't have are those and the reason said I was missing courses as denial

Understand. I'm sorry 😞. But you can't give up. Keep going. Keep pushing.. Everything will work out exactly how it's suppose too for you...

@Bell30 are you in the traditional ADN or LPN to RN program?

Thank you all.
I am okay. I'm not feeling too discouraged now. I know it will work out and I'll just keep taking classes until my turn. I plan to do their RN to BSN w Albany too so I'm just taking core for that to fill time.

When I emailed the advisor she said we'd get to class around 830 or 9am at Cordele campus for Orientation. The other courses that they registered me for are psych and fundamentals. Starting at 9 and it looks like around 1230-1pm until 4. But I'm not sure if that'll change once the clinical start. I'm sure they'll go over all this at Orientation (hopefully).

@futurenurseholly did you see your registered courses once your major was changed?
I know we have orientation on the 20th at 9am, but I wonder how long we'll be there for.
