Alameda Health System New Grad RN Program Fall 2024

Hi everyone! Just wanted to start this thread for everyone applying to the AHS Fall '24 new grad cohort so we can get to know each other and share updates. I just applied for obstetrics and received an email back with supplemental questions yesterday. I'm an external candidate but have always wanted to work at Highland so hope it works out! Good luck everybody, we got this!💗

I haven't sent a follow up email yet but I did reach out to my recruiter to see if there was a time frame to hear back and he said just to wait til Friday. The anxiety is killing me!

I actually did receive a questionnaire but no email or call for interview.

I just literally received an email back confirming date and time. Is your interview for psych?

Wow that gives me hope. Hopefully they get back to me soon as well. Is the person who emailed u the confirmation, the same person who emailed u asking for preferred time slots? I'm not sure if my interview is for psych. They just told me there would be a panel of unit managers from different facilities.

Anyone know how the interviews work? Based off of the interview date/time options I am guessing, there are multiple applicants per interview. For those of you who received interview invites what date/time options were you given?

Yes! It was the same person that emailed me the time slots that confirmed.

I hope it's not a group interview. My interview is Wednesday at 9:30!

Yea doing the math of 30 min per interview and the interview time slots of 9:30 to 1 for 3 days it seems like each manager/unit is probably gonna interview ~21 applicants if they are individual interviews. But who knows.

I was told by my recruiter a few days ago that it'll be just yourself and a panel of unit managers from different facilities. I'm hoping this is true because if it's multiple applicants during a 30 minute interview, we wouldn't really have time to go more in depth about ourselves.

yes! same boat and I keep rechecking! fingers crossed - external applicant
