Alabama nursing nacc, sscc

Hey everyone! I have applied to Northeast Community College and Snead States nursing programs, I am so nervous about getting in. I am feeling very negative about it, I made Bs in all my Science classes, my GPA is a 3.1 and I made a crappy 55 on the Teas test, which converted to an ACT score is a 19 ( and you have to have an 18 to apply) I made a 43 the first time on the teas, so I was proud of myself for bringing it up 12 points, but also annoyed that I didnt make in the 60s like I had originally hoped for. I studied for 7 weeks straight, along with working full time, going to school full time and taking care of my 2 kids. Unfortunately, a 55 and all B's was the best I could do. I am just wanting to know if anyone could give me any idea on what my chances of actually getting in are. Please no harsh comments, I am already beating myself up enough. Thank you!

Just curious did you ever get admitted?

I didn't get into RN like I wanted, but I did get into LPN. The reason I didn't get into RN was because I hadn't completed all my basic courses yet, and I just barley passed my TEAS. I am in the LPN program now, then going to bridge over to RN the semester I graduate from LPN to get my RN

first that's awesome that you got in! Either way you'll be done in a couple years. It's good to know that you can get admitted to the lvn program and still complete courses for the RN. I scored similar to you on my ACT so I am worried about any program admitting me lvnor RN would be phenomenal. So congrats to you! !!

Try again on your ACT, do you go to NACC? They are offering classes right now to help prepare students!
