Air Force NTP Applicant FY17

Anyone looking at applying for USAF NTP program for FY17? I am trying to get the process going, but having a hard time getting consistent comms with the recruiter in my region. I was told Nurse Corps recruiting business has been moved from the Goodyear (AZ) station to the Aurora/Denver station. Spoke once a few weeks ago with a SGT Brown in the Aurora/Denver office, but haven't been able to get a hold of him since then via phone - no one answers the phone and there is no option to leave a voicemail. I failed to get his email address the one time I talked to him, so can't contact via email. Anyone have any insight?

recruiter updated me that it will be a few more weeks :/ hang tight!

Yes any more info? Bummer, I'm so ready to know already.

This is definitely testing patience here. Could it be part of our unofficial SERE training? :woot: Hmm. I think the military's fiscal year is Oct 1 - Sept 30, so I'm guessing that they have picked out who gets in, but are waiting until they get more info on allocated money and whether they will have more or less room (ie which alternates do they have room to add). So here's to September 30 :sarcastic:

This is the military (torture) phenomenon known as "hurry up and wait." :D It will not be the last time you experience this (torture) phenomenon if you are selected to commission! Best of luck. :)

@srbea87 - No not yet. My recuiter said we should at least know where I'll be going for NTP in about two weeks.
