Anyone looking at applying for USAF NTP program for FY17? I am trying to get the process going, but having a hard time getting consistent comms with the recruiter in my region. I was told Nurse Corps recruiting business has been moved from the Goodyear (AZ) station to the Aurora/Denver station. Spoke once a few weeks ago with a SGT Brown in the Aurora/Denver office, but haven't been able to get a hold of him since then via phone - no one answers the phone and there is no option to leave a voicemail. I failed to get his email address the one time I talked to him, so can't contact via email. Anyone have any insight?
I was just selected for Med Surg!! Woohoo!! What did you all put down on your wish list for locations? I learn we learn our posting in a few weeks. I chose Germany, England, and then Texas.
I put down almost every base I could go to as a new OB nurse. The bases that I wanted to avoid weren't even an option for me so I'll pretty much be happy wherever I go! However, I'm really hoping I go to either JBER or Langley!

Congrats! ! I was also selected for med-surg , and my 1st choice was germany, then england, then texas, and florida. Hope we get our top choices as it seems we may be together because our top 2 choices were the same. What state do you live? Im in NY. Does your acceptance letter state in October 2016?
Question for you apricot, what options did they give you for OB NTP, I feel like my recruiter just told me to pick from any of the NTP locations. I'm hoping to go to Europe, I didn't make any stateside selections. I just don't want to go to Navada is all.I put down almost every base I could go to as a new OB nurse. The bases that I wanted to avoid weren't even an option for me so I'll pretty much be happy wherever I go! However, I'm really hoping I go to either JBER or Langley!
