Air Force NTP Applicant FY17

Anyone looking at applying for USAF NTP program for FY17? I am trying to get the process going, but having a hard time getting consistent comms with the recruiter in my region. I was told Nurse Corps recruiting business has been moved from the Goodyear (AZ) station to the Aurora/Denver station. Spoke once a few weeks ago with a SGT Brown in the Aurora/Denver office, but haven't been able to get a hold of him since then via phone - no one answers the phone and there is no option to leave a voicemail. I failed to get his email address the one time I talked to him, so can't contact via email. Anyone have any insight?

Do any of you know when we should expect to hear back about selections?

I have my CN Interview tomorrow :)

I've been licensed since 2012, it's just that I've been working as a home visitor/public health nurse and need to go to NTP

Yeah there was someone who commented before you about their recruiter not wanting them to apply to July but I think they deleted their comment

Hi all, my first discussion post....lol...i also applied..med surg route as it offers more options and growth...didn't want to get locked into ob/gyn and may not like it. Im from NY, my recruiter is in NY, my CON interview was in NJ. I am super excited...Now its a waiting game ...tick..tock...tick...tock... I chose my 1st station to be landstuhl, Germany...anyone else chose that as a top choice on your dream sheet? I heard and read many wonderful experiences in Germany. .plus I really want to get out of my comfort zone. .. I have been a RN for 6 years now, just recieved my BSN last August...I have to apply for NYP because I dont have hospital experience. ...thats fine with me as long as I get in. BTW I really like my recruiter, she is on top of everything. Good luck to everyone!!

Has anyone been able to find a COT forum for the NTP? There's a site for OTS, but I can't find one for nurse corps.

maggiebadger - No not as of right now. I have been looking as well. Has anyone heard anything on the board release dates? My recruiter told me 5 August but expect them to be late. FY16, they were three weeks late. Good look everyone!
