Is anyone else on here applying for FY 2015 for Air Force? I'm in the process of applying for the selection board in October 2014 and it would be great to hear from someone else also applying for the end of this year! :)

Ok, so I checked with my recruiter this morning since the unofficial results some already have was eating at me. So he says he called San Antonio to see what is going on here goes: 1. There is no estimate on how long the delay will be, they do not have an estimate. 2. The "unforseen circumstance" is that there is some issues with some peoples board scores. 3. He asked about the "unofficial results" they said some recruiters have found a way to pull a report that tells the applicants status, however this report is 100% subject to change especially since the delay is because some peoples scores may be changing.

He is not looking at this report as it is subject to change so he does not want to tell me something that may or may not be happening. I am very appreciative of this update from him, so I am sharing in hopes it will help those of us awaiting.

Are the board scores how each applicant is scored from 1-10? 10 being the most qualified. I wonder who didnt like the results and is demanding a recount

I am too awaiting to hear back from the boards. I have heard it can be several weeks to months later before we find out. Good luck to those who have applied. Do anyone know what is the bonus or student loan repayment amount for this new fiscal year? My recruiter hasn't emailed me back yet. I was wondering if anything has changed.

I received an e-mail from my recruiter with an update about the board; doesn't shed light on when we might find out, but I wanted to share it with y'all anyway:

"I just wanted to let you know the board results have not been released yet. I was just informed that the board minutes are still being routed and once they are complete the results will be released. That info is directly from the program manager. I wish I had better information but at this point we don't. Keep the faith and I will let you know as I know!"

My recruiter told me each person is scored out of 30 points. And there is different areas to score in. So when the official results come out you will find out what the areas are and how you scored. So that way for next time you can work on your weak areas.

I'm curious....for those of you accepted (and CONGRATS!!!) how long are you signing for? I wonder if it's more common to be accepted if you commit to a longer service....?
