I did not do so great in high school never really applied myself but I passed barely so embrassed:imbar:imbar:imbar!!!! but 13 years later here I am ready to start on my way towards my dream of becoming an RN:nurse:!!!! By the way is NP Nurse Practioner-hope I spelled that right so sorry.Wow, the CC in Central Orlando don't ask for HS Transcripts. If they did I would be very embarrassed as well. We can't be too hard on ourselves. We were kids then and now we are adults and readyAs for NP, I meant Nursing School. I don't think Nurse Practioner is in my career path, but hey,you never know:D

I went to maybe 2 years of highschool, the first 2 I was there for maybe a month tops. The last 2 I busted my bum and when I was actually IN school, I did really well. 95 on english 90 on history ..65 in bowling LOL. Long story short, Im "tentatively" in a nursing program in a highly competitive school. 1700 applicants, 140 seats. Hard work, dedication, faith will all pay off. Above all, a positive attitude! Put your past behind you, you cant change it. Focus on the bright future in front of you. :icon_hug:Good luck, we may run into each other one day.

Doing nothing with my life, while the rest fo my peers transfered to respectable colleges, I was 20 years old, working for PETsMART of all places with nothing more to my name than weekly measley paychecks that barely covered gas and food when I decided to get my life together. At 20. i enrolled in my local community college, gave it my best, with a new-found respect for life and myself, and here i am now.I am 22 years old, I start nursing school in the fall as i have gotton my first acceptance letter from a state school in my area (woohoo). Alot happened to me in just 2 years. in 730 days, i changed my entire life around and gave myself a bright future. You can do it in 730 days too (or less!), you just have to commit to day "#1," and dont give up!!!!NEVER sell yourself short!
