Let me know how it goes I just finished the LPN program and take my boards August 25th. Our school is starting a new LPN to RN program in AUG. 2010. Hopefully I will get in. If I pass boards then I will take the ACE test in October and hopefully get in. So please let me know how it goes.
Mine was horrible. I had transition for 10 weeks, 3 careplans, 1 paper, doseage calc test and a final, plus 1 page discussion boards every week . We also had to take health assessment and pharm with it plus micro ontop of it all. I could have cried and quit so many times. Our class went from 9 lpns to 2 going on to second year. Good luck with this semester.
WHEW!!! Was anyone else overwhelmed with their transition class???? Ours was two weeks long (intercession)... and we had a total of 7 all day classes........ 2 papers, 2 care plans including plan of care, 3 quizzes, 1 dosage calc test, and 1 final. OMG!!!!! I was so overwhelmed, I think mostly because of living so far and working full time.......BUT I PASSED AND THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS!!! With a B!!!
On to Nursing Process III now........ starts in 2 weeks. Oh and Micro (ugh)
Anyone else going through a bridge program.... PM me and keep in touch!
Good luck to everyone
