Hi all!
Looking to give home health a try! I have been in the hospital setting for almost three years. I'm coming off of a travel assignment and ready to try something new. Moving to the St. Petersburg, FL area and notice there are tons of agencies. Anyone familiar with any or have any feedback in what to look for in an agency? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Are you adept with OASIS charting?
Nope, I am new to home health! Been in the acute care setting and am familiar with EPIC and Cerner!

I just started a Home Health job in Daytona. I don't know anything about St. Pete, however, Opis is a large company and my be over there. I have heard that they are good.

Interim is a good home health company to work for.

I believe Senior Home Care is in the area. They have pretty much got it together.

You sound like me!! Wanting to come out of the hospital (l&d) and looking for a home health/case manager job in st Pete. Did you find a good company, and what's it like to be away from the bedside?
