Thanks in advance!

I will be 31 when I graduate as a LPN in August 08, I hope to start my LPN-BSN right away and be done by time I'm 33-34.

I'm 20 now and will graduate with my ADN in May just 2 months before my 21st b-day!

But I'm not stopping there I then will be getting my BSN and then eventually become a nurse practioner!

I will be 49 when I graduate. I was a little sad too at how "old" I'll be but I looked at the stats for the state of Texas and this is what I found:

As of 9/1/07 the largest group of RNs is in the 45-54 age group (51,655 women, 5,015 men). The second largest group is in the 35-44 age group and the third largest group is in the 55-64 age group.

I found this data at http://www.bon.state.tx.us/about/statistical.html

Best of luck to everyone!;)

I'll be 49 when I am finished, and like the earlier poster, better later than never. This is my "second" career, something I have always wanted to do, and now I am finally doing it!!

Specializes in OHS, Emergency medicine.

I will be 31 when I finally finish with my ADN and if everything goes right 34-35 when I have my MSN! It has been a long road just getting this far. I will be glad when I can finally call myself a RN. :yelclap:

Specializes in med-surg.

32 next year with a BSN, which is my 2nd bachelor's degree.

Specializes in Neuro ICU.

Second career for me. I'll be 48 when I graduate with a BSN in Dec 2008 -- and I'm having the time of my life. Our class includes ages from 20 to 60.

I have nearly 40 students in my class, we range from 19 to mid-50's...I'm the second youngest - haha! I'll be 23 when I graduate in December 2008!

But age is nothing but a number - my best friend will be 40 when she graduates! :)

I'll be 53 when I graduate in May 2008 with an Associate RN degree.

I am/was 23 when I graduated. Feel like a baby compared to those I went to school with. :chuckle
