Hello all!

I am in the process of attempting to have my RN license re-instated after revocation (AZ). It was revoked due to alcohol abuse. I have now been sober 12 years and want to get back into nursing.

My question is, does anyone have experience with AZ? Is it likely they will re-issue my license. I am aware of my mistakes in the past and have worked very hard to correct them.

If anyone has suggestions or information, I would greatly appreciate any help/insight you can offer.

Stella, wishing you luck from a fellow Wisconsinite! The board doesn't seem to be as bad as some states, but still bad enough. The hard part is finding a job. What area are you in?

I wish you all luck. I feel the vintage of some of these "sins" should be taken into account and a little of the compassion and caring us nurses are supposed to have should be applied
