The hotels near the site are really expensive... most of those in the makati buss. district are 5star... i suggest to find hotels in pasay or mandaluyong / guadalupe they are cheaper there.. just ride the MRT to Ayala station or take a bus.. MRT opens 6am...

if you can find a sogo hotel/motel within the vicinity, i advise that you to choose this establishment for the fee is not that expensive. but i am not certain if this exist near the trident tower. but i am aware that the firm is extending its property so there is a greater chance that the firm is existing within the area.

i would be visiting the area by next week and maybe i can find the said firm. if i may find any firm that can offer the same low amount then i would inform you via this forum.

Makati is a small, busy city. You can try hotels/inns along Arnaiz Ave. (formerly called Pasay Road) that is parallel to Sen. Gil Puyat Ave. It's about 10-minute away via cab during off-peak hours (because during peak hours, traffic there could really be heavy). They are cheaper than those situated along Ayala Ave., which are nearer to Sen. Gil Puyat Ave.

Try Zyrst Pension Haus, Its actually a house converted to a mini-hotel, the rate is very affordable, you can choose Dormitory Type room 3 double decks or a Single room. Just PM me if your interested i will give you their contact details. By the way they are located along Santillan St one ride to Trident Tower:-)
