Affinity drug testing

Nurses Recovery

Does anyone know what option 1 urine screen for affinity tests for? So far its the only test i have had to take during my one year of probation which i think Is odd. Thanks

Okay guys because I've had false positives on option 1 which is urine ethanol because of a kidney issue I can positively tell you what four of the options.

I was switched from doing mainly Option 1 to mainly doing options 3 and 4 so that I would only have the EGT. Piecing together info from caseworker and leaked info that once on line and a knowledgeable source, here it goes:

Option 1 is straight urine ethanol, pot, basic narcs and benzo's.

2 adds EGT and cough syrup to all above.

3 adds ultram, more narcs, sudaphed to all the above

4 this is one that I was tested most frequently on at 9 months into the program due to my false positives on the ethanol. Option 4 is the "kitchen sink" All of the above, all over the counter meds that are banned, antipsychotics, antidepressants.. you get the gist.

I would suggest getting to a place in yourself where it does not matter what option you test for. Be glad your most frequent option is 1 and not the others. I never cheated I followed the program completely. But the more intense the option the more the chance for testing errors.

Thanks so much! I am terrified of testing errors. BON does not care about errors as we well know. I have been a CRNA for 27 years and I want to do everything by the book and get this year behind me. Thanks so much for your input! Also, just to add... I have been told by Affinity that we are no longer allowed to view our test results.

Is through TPAPN. My three year sentence ended this past Friday but I was still able to get my results from the week before.

Not right that you can't see results. Especially when you consider it something that you are paying for.

Whoa....what?! So your case manager (if they decided to be shady) can tell you that you were positive and you won't know for sure???

How is it that you have to pay for the testing but cannot see results?

Yah, this is bull. I know this was so in other programs, but very very disappointing if TPAPN is doing this now. We have a right to know.

Are you in Texas??? I've still been able to see my results.

Are your test results not covered by HIPPA? I mean they are still a medical test regardless of why they are being taken, the information belongs to you.

It's ridiculous how costly it is. I am in the KARE PROGRAM and I am frustrated.

Thanks for the info..I’m currently anxious now.i took a test yesterday at 2pm and on my app it still doesn’t acknowledge they r testing it and I’m worried.i did take 3 Benadryl to help me sleep since. I work nights n my sleeping sucks.ive had a couple of abnormals due to high creative levels.i thought all they do is a strip test so how would they kno about my creative??? Also should I be worried that they haven’t said on the app that my sample hasn’t been acknowledge after 30 hours?

If Benadryl is on your banned list (it is on mine, in TX), I would stay away at all costs. No need to worry yourself over that kind of stuff!

I use Affinity and it usually shows up right away as I completed the test, results Pending. The first one I took was a week before it registered on my account as negative, the next one, a Friday, showed Neg on Tuesday.

Good luck, hope this info helps!
