Hi All ~
I singed a contract for IPN and am getting testing for Affinity. I have a hx of opiate usage and so I'm sure I'm getting the usual testing for it. I also dabbled in Kratom as well during a relapse so I'm curious if I'm getting tested for this.
Does anyone know what the test 791750 test for? It's clearly a "special" test that not on the usual checkboxes on the sheet. Do you think it test for Kratom? And what else? Also full opiate panel? Curious if Buprenorphine is added to these panels as well.
While we're at it, if anyone can list their test code and the respective panels that they know are tested for, we can keep a running document for others to see. I'm a firm believer that if I'm paying for these expensive tests, I deserve to at least know what's in it.
Thanks all ?

791750 is a urine drug test specific for Kratom (Mitragynine). The code is actually listed on Labcorp’s website which is unusual. For most panels, Affinity had created CPT codes that are different than what is listed on Labcorp or Quest’s websites (to keep participants from knowing what’s being tested). I don’t think Kratom is something they routinely check unless they either have a suspicion of it being used or if it was your DOC before entering IPN.
For example: When I was in my state’s ATD program, I knew that Ambien wasn’t something that they routinely checked - but they could. There was a nurse in my Healthcare Professionals group that “randomly” got picked for a special “O” panel test every month that rest of us never got. However, since one of her DOC was Ambien, we suspected that’s what that panel was.
When I was almost out of the program (2019), someone mentioned how trends had changed, giving an example that buprenorprine used to only be included on a few select panels, but was now being added to the majority of the routine panels. For 5 years, I simply assumed that every banned medication was on every panel. From Dilaudid (my DOC) to Benadryl. I was afraid that if I EVER rationalized taking a Benadryl or any other banned OTC med without a doctor’s note, it would guarantee that I’d be tested for that particular med the next day, LOL!
Actually the code I was curious about is 791975. Anyone know this one? I DO have Kratom hx and makes me wonder if that is what they are testing for. But then would they ALSO test for a full opiate panel too? All for just $65? Because I sense that the other test I get (the typical 737675 one) tests for that. Still don't see Buprenorphine being on most tests, seems like an add-on but who knows.
I still don't see why can't know what I'm tested for...if I use it and then I have to test for it, well not much I can do.

Does anyone know how the board is about suboxone? Are you permitted to be in a MAT program while completing your probation requirements?

Usually Alternative to Discipline/IPN (every state calls it something different) programs require abstinence, including Suboxone. Although I can't say that with absolute certainty, I've heard it's the case with most.

You can call LabCorp and you may be able to find out. I have done this before and was successful. Sometimes it takes getting the right agent. Here's the number:

Hey y’all. What is the Affinity website for drug testing? I’m in Virginia. New to this and haven’t registered yet. I’m required to do one test per month but haven’t received any information yet or registration info.

In Texas, we also use Affinity. Once I was accepted into the program, I was sent login information by my CM and was told to begin checking in EVERY single day. There is a button at top to check in and it will tell you if you are chosen that day to test.
