  1. Thank you for the warning. Well aware of what needs to be done. Do you have any insight into answering my question?
  2. Hey — I got a PETH test done a few days back. I am currently a very social drinker (1 drink per week if that) however last last drink was 3 days before the PETH. I only had one cocktail. Just curious it I’d be positive based on people’s experience. I believe the cutoff is 20ng/ml which supposedly represents moderate to heavy drinking (which definitely does not apply to me) but I’m confused since there’s also a time component too (the longer you arE abstinent, it goes to zero. Thoughts??
  3. OK great. Thanks good to know!
  4. Sure. That all seems totally reasonable and that I'd have to be negative and probably get extra testing. I just wonder if they'd ever say that I just can't take pain med after surgery. Like if they can wield power like that if someone legitimately has pain. I don't know, I'm just concerned and scared both ways (if I can handle the pain without AND if its even worth taking if I could loose my job).
  5. Hi all ~ I currently in recovery and in a monitoring program. I am getting ENT surgery in a few days and will be under full anesthesia and am given a small supplement of pain meds post-operatively. I am an opiate addict in recovery and have been clean for 1 year now. It obviously makes me nervous about the surgery and using these medications but also importantly just how it would look to the monitoring program. I am obviously going to rely on NON-controlled pain meds but at the same time feel that if I'm in significant pain, should have the option to use it. My surgeon is aware. I have reached out to my monitoring program to briefly let them know but no response yet. I would obviously have all my proof of RX and medical record available to them but has anyone else been in a similar situation? I am going to continue to drug test as per usual and don't want any interruption. Just want to be as transparent and open as possible while still ensuring I can proceed without appearing like I'm "abusing" something I'm not supposed to use. Any advice/thoughts would be great. Thank you ?
  6. Actually the code I was curious about is 791975. Anyone know this one? I DO have Kratom hx and makes me wonder if that is what they are testing for. But then would they ALSO test for a full opiate panel too? All for just $65? Because I sense that the other test I get (the typical 737675 one) tests for that. Still don't see Buprenorphine being on most tests, seems like an add-on but who knows. I still don't see why can't know what I'm tested for...if I use it and then I have to test for it, well not much I can do.
  7. Hi All ~ I singed a contract for IPN and am getting testing for Affinity. I have a hx of opiate usage and so I'm sure I'm getting the usual testing for it. I also dabbled in Kratom as well during a relapse so I'm curious if I'm getting tested for this. Does anyone know what the test 791750 test for? It's clearly a "special" test that not on the usual checkboxes on the sheet. Do you think it test for Kratom? And what else? Also full opiate panel? Curious if Buprenorphine is added to these panels as well. While we're at it, if anyone can list their test code and the respective panels that they know are tested for, we can keep a running document for others to see. I'm a firm believer that if I'm paying for these expensive tests, I deserve to at least know what's in it. Thanks all ?
