Hello,
I am sorta interested in becoming a flight nurse in the AF Reserve. Are there any flight nurses here? How do you like it? How long was training?

Did you have to wait to start the paperwork until after you reached the one year of experience point? or can you start before then as long as by the time you're commissioned you have one year?

No, you just need 1 year of experience by the time you go to COT (officer basic training for AF).
The squadron that I spoke with said that they wouldn't be able to accept anything until I was fully qualified, ie 1 yrs experience, but they did tell me to start getting all the info together since it can take a while. I met with them when I had about 8 months as a nurse.
Oh, this is reserves. I didn't see the title.
