Advice and suggestion on looking for an LPN job in New York

I recently took my Nclex pn exam, I passed and i am looking for a job. Its really hard because most place i have applied to want 1yr/2yr even 3yr experience. Even some angencies that i got a call back from say they need atleast 1yr experience. It really fustrating. I am working towards starting my rn program for fall of 2013. I am taking my preqs right now. Also i work in a hospital, ain which i applied to just waiting for the response.I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket so i am looking for options. Any suggestion on who is hiring or advice on where else to look. Thanks in adavance.
