The philippine curriculum is accepted in the united states as long as you will pass the CGNFS and/or NCLEX.

Please take the time to do some reading on this forum. There has already been much on this topic.

Please be aware that the BSN program is going back to five years as it once was, and you need to have the BSN to be able to get a license in the US. The two year ADN that you may see advertised does not meet the educational requirements for the US as it is not the same as the first level training for the RN in PI, and is not even accepted for licensure in PI.

You would be much further ahead to get your training in the US and know that it will be accepted all over. Depending on where you are in the US, not all programs in PI are accepted, some are missing hours and then you have the fact that we are seeing more states starting to require the local license before they will permit you to sit for the NCLEX exam, and if you are not a citizen of PI; then you will not be able to do that and will have to spend extra time trying to get that requirement waived.

you will not be able to get an rn in the state of georgia. the law changed to say any graduate from a schooll not equal to or less stringent then georgia approved nursing schools cannot endorse.

they say your clincal training is not as good as thiers

It is gear for grads of excelsior college. For example BSN may only teach if they are currently enrolled in a MSN program. Most MSN programs require several years of RN nursing experience. So if a program did not have qualified nursing instructors the state probably would not endorse the applicant.

My home state as a Nursing Instructor, the college has to submit my credentials on a yearly basis, so I know at least in my home state the faculty is looked at carefully.

The four year programs in the Philippines for the most part meet the requirements for licensure in the US.

You are speaking of graduates of a specific school called Excelsior that is on-line and considered non-traditional. It is not accepted by several other states as well, and that includes CA. Much has been written on this topic under the Distance Learning Forum.

It has nothing to do with those from the Philippines that have completed an approved program in a School of Nursing.
