It is possible to apply for licensure for any of the states if you have no experience however with the many years wait do not be surprised if employers start looking for experience before they are willing to petition you

hi, even in vermont they do not require experience??

Specializes in General Surgery and Interventional Radiology.

hi im a graduate of a new CON. we are actually the first batch of nurses our school produced.

now, since our school is still a newbie our registrar doesnt know what to do with our forms. can you give us advices or tips. its been a month since we passed our application to our school and until now its not yet finished.

The forms are actually quite self-explanatory. They just need to fill in the information that is specifically requested.

You may with to contact the registrar of an existing school to get specific information from them for your school or better yet, ask your school to contact them.

Please be aware that if you are the first grad of a new school, it is going to take much longer to get permission to sit for the NCLEX exam, the BON does their own credential evaluation and they have not had anyone thru there before. so expect extra time to be spent.

hi what do you really mean by detailed course description?

im a bit confused with my application.

if ever, my application in vermont is lacking will they notify me and can i just send the lacking requirements?

thanks.

Vermont will make their own assessment and if they are unable to verify your training then they will inform you and cause delays. Either way the demand for Vermont is high and you are looking at approx 4 months to receive eligibility

I asked my school to include a detailed course description in my application because it is a VT requirement. Maybe you should ask your school as well.

I was approved by the BON 4 months after.

hi. if i may ask, if i pass the licensure exam in california and get to endorse my papers/results to vermont do i stll need an SSN? i'm located in the philippines by the way.
