If you have already done one assignment with them and were happy what does someone else's opinion matter? Seems as though you would know now..... what was your experience with them?
While I thank you for your post, I haven't done an assignment with them yet. I have just received my first paycheck. I have 2 assignments with them, I am just starting my 8 week assignment then I have a 14 week assignment. I wanted to have any tips to keep an eye out for any troubles that may come my way.
I am working for Advantage RN right now, have another assignment that I signed up for too before I met another traveler who worked for them. Well, having heard his difficulties with them, I wondered if anyone had anything to say about them? Are they good, bad? I have worked with AMN before and they were ok, pay was crappy but they had good benefits otherwise, good housing and insurance which are my 2 main things. Thanks everyone!!
I have done multiple assisgnments with Advantage--they are great but just don't rely on them for housing--find your own.
I wasn't impressed with Advantage RN when I was applying through them. My first recruiter who was sweet was then out on "medical leave". The second recruiter was highly disappointing, told her in July I'd be ready to travel mid-September. She never followed up and I didn't hear anything from that company until I called it and was told she was "out on medical leave". So either this company hires a lot of sickly people or that is their line for people that got canned, etc.
The recruiter represents the company to both myself and to hospitals. I do not feel impressed by the company and I personally don't plan on ever traveling with them due to their poor service right out the gate.
