i am currently studying for the advanced clinical assessment course and need to critique consultation models, assess 7 body systems. These include, cardiac, respiratory, abdominal, musculoskeletal, neurological, ENT and dermatology. I would appreciate anyone's experience of this course and advice on consultation models. Any advice wou,d be appreciated. I have read many consultation models, some seem a bit out of date and the Calgary Cambridge model seems to be the most popular, however I feel it it's quite lengthy.

I also would like to know if nurses use the clinical assessment course regularly in their line of work.

I just completed an advanced assessment class for my Master's degree and I have no idea what a consultation model is! Is this for an undergrad class?

No post grad. Consultation models are used to tan insight into the presenting condition, gaining a thorough history and clinical examination and hopefully a diagnosis
