ADN FALL 2019 @ Merritt College, Oakland, CA

Hello! This forum is for ADN Fall 2019 applicants at the Merritt College. I'd like to know anyone who applied, their experience with the application process, and any information about the program. I am a first time applicant.

According to the brochure, the orientation date is June 11, 2019. Where do you get the information that the extended lottery date is May 30th? I also submitted my TEAS score as soon as I received my eligibility letter. I also emailed them to confirm whether they received my TEAS score or not but I did not receive any responses back yet :(

Also, would you guys happen to know what day the orientation is? I am assuming that they'd change the date, since the extended the lottery date to May 30th,

I received two pieces of paper that were attached to my letter. The eligibility letter and the green 2019 TEAS 6.0 Instructions. It said that "Minimum TEAS 6.0 score of 62% is required to be eligible for the May 30th Lottery". I'm assuming that they extended the date from the 23rd to the 30th.

I also tried to stop by their office earlier today, and they were not seeing people regarding their applications.

Does anyone have any info on why there is such a delay in the application process? I have not received anything yet and I've emailed, called and have not received any reply.

Hey,

First time user here.. I applied to the ADN program at Merritt and received a two page letter a while ago instructing I met the requirements and to submit the teas. I did. Just still waiting for the lottery.
Reading above, do we get another letter regarding the lottery? This is a little confusing.

Hi Oleenie,

Did you change your residential address?

i think if you’re eligible you should have received an email or post mail by now confirming your eligibility for the program.

if you’ve time, you might want to check with them in person.

As per the delay in the application process, I don’t have any idea. I’m hoping we hear from them this week.

Hey everyone,

i just got a letter in my mail and I was accepted into the program! However I will not be accepting because I was already accepted into UNiversity of San Francisco BSN program! Hopefully this opens a spot for someone in need! Good luck!
