ADN Fall2021 El Centro / North Lake College (DCCCD)

Hi Everyone,

I've been looking all over for a way to communicate with other students looking to apply to the Nursing program in the Fall of 2021 at either El Centro or North Lake Campus. Deadline is January 31st, I'm working on the check list and trying to find a testing center for the HESI A2 for November. Is anyone taking the HESI anytime soon? I'd like to keep in touch through this journey of ours!

Can you advise on how you got a 100 on the A&P section of the HESI?! I received a 76 and would LOVE to get a 90 or higher, that is the section I struggle most with due to overthinking, or can you give a link of where I can refresh even further? I have a HESI book I use and also used the code within to practice but I do not think its enough to you know get a higher score for me

Please see my previous comment above. I just went by memory from my classes and I did the practice tests on the nurse hub website. I purchased the practice tests pack there.

Hi everyone, I need some guidance on how often one can retake hesiA2. I did today and scored 100 in A and P, 92 in math and grammar,86 in Vocab but scored 74 in Eng reading. Am so frustrated.

Ugh that sucks!! That happened to me but with grammar. At el centro you can take it as many times as you need to. Just email the 5test so they can let you know when the next session is

Thank you @SuperMom89 I will email them although I had taken through MVC.I believe it doesn’t matter. What did you use to study Eng reading? Any secret of passing it? I don’t even know how to revise for it.

I used Nursehub for everything and mathdude for Math. Reading is a subject I'm quite familiar with so I studied that subject the lease. Overall I recommend Nursehub

Got you. Well I will do my best. Is there big difference between the first and the second(v1and v2)? How did you see it?

What did you study for A&P and grammar those sections have me nervous ?

I used nursehub  and HESI Admission Assessment Elsevier book
