  1. This time next week we'll know if we've been accepted into the program! I'm so nervous!
  2. Yay! Good luck! I'm trying to work as much as I can in the case that I do get accepted, I'll at least have money saved and bills paid before dropping to part time. Did you put 2 campuses down (a 1st choice and 2nd choice)?
  3. Yes, I forgot to mention that it has to be done through American Heart Association. If you haven't already, I'd recommend scheduling it ASAP as many of the classes only take very few appointments at a time due to covid. The deadline for submitting applications is Monday 2/15. Good luck!
  4. You can do a hybrid course, but the actual CPR training must be done in person or else they will not accept it.
  5. No longer than 24hrs in my experience
  6. Hi there! So I submitted my application I'm Friday! Fingers crossed, how are you coming Along?
  7. I used Nursehub for everything and mathdude for Math. Reading is a subject I'm quite familiar with so I studied that subject the lease. Overall I recommend Nursehub
  8. Ugh that sucks!! That happened to me but with grammar. At el centro you can take it as many times as you need to. Just email the 5test so they can let you know when the next session is
  9. Awe that is so awesome!!! No doubt you're getting in! I just need to get a couple of titers, physical and I can apply. I took the HESI twice. I made close to a 100% in each section except for grammar (78%) and had to take it again ?. The 2nd time around I got a 100% in Anatomy, 90 in Reading, 92 in vocab, 82 in math and grammar. Which I really wanted higher but I rushed myself because I was afraid of running out of time. I should've took a wintermester class but had no idea that it existed. Well, good luck to you! I hope we both get in ??
  10. Heyy! Just checking in! How did the HESI go?
  11. I did really well! I got 90s in majority of the sections except grammar, I got a 78% which is two points away from the 80% that is required. ? I'd recommend using Nurse hub for practice test and math dude on Youtube for the math portion. That really helped me prepare and contributed to my success on the test. Good Luck!
  12. Thanks! Have you taken the HESI already? I just took mine today!
  13. Hi! Where did you schedule your exam? I'm searching everywhere and cannot find test dates in the fall. Deadline for next fall is January 31st so I'm trying to get on it right away.
  14. Hi Everyone, I've been looking all over for a way to communicate with other students looking to apply to the Nursing program in the Fall of 2021 at either El Centro or North Lake Campus. Deadline is January 31st, I'm working on the check list and trying to find a testing center for the HESI A2 for November. Is anyone taking the HESI anytime soon? I'd like to keep in touch through this journey of ours!
