admission stats

Hello!

I am applying to nursing schools this fall, but am confused about where to apply. Can those of you who are already in nursing programs (second degree) please give me some insight! What are your stats- gpa, gre, clinical experience etc. Please include your school and program. Also if you know any averages of your class please let me know! Thanks

Generally schools will post incoming cohort stats on their website. Your GPA and GRE scores are fine. You do not need a 4.0 cumulative GPA to get into nursing school. My cumulative undergraduate GPA was above the 3.8 mark and I was accepted into every second degree nursing program I applied to. Pick a few schools and review the stats provided. If the stats are not provided, call the school of nursing. Someone will be able to tell you. This information will give you a better idea of how well your chances are of getting into the program.

At this juncture I would normally close with good luck. However, I don’t think you will need luck in getting accepted.

depending on where you live , here in California all of the nursing schools are a little compact i would try and entry level maters program , you gey twice the good stuff in the end your masters and more financial aid. and your stats really depend on what the program is looking for in undergrad i only have a 3.0 but in all my pre-reqs i did better, my program wasnt so much into your grades but you as a person and what you can bring to their program .
